A vaccination campaign will begin on November 15 in Laugardalshöll. The first phase of the campaign will run for four weeks.
Vaccines will be given on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10:00 pm to 15:00 pm.
The vaccine that will be used on November 30th is Moderna, an mRNA vaccine. On December 1st we are using Pfizer an mRNA vaccine.
General info on booster vaccinations
Everyone 16 years old and older will be offered a booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone will receive an invite but people may come to Laugardalshöll if at least five months have passed since their second vaccination dose.
Remember that 14 days need to pass between receiving a flu vaccine and receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The bar code remains valid if it is received during this period.
Those who have received the basic vaccination and have contracted Covid as well should wait until receiving further instructions.
Open house for the unvaccinated as well as the partially vaccinated
On Thursdays and Fridays there will be an open house at Laugardalshöll from 10:00 to 15:00.
Unvaccinated individuals and individuals who have not yet completed the basic vaccination or who need other vaccines are welcome.
The Pfizer vaccine is used on both days. On Thursdays we will have AstraZeneca and Moderna and on Fridays Janssen is also available.
Those who need to receive a vaccine in their cars will also be vaccinated on Thursdays and Fridays.
