We vaccinate all workdays between 10:00 and 15:00 o'clock at Suðurlandsbraut 34.

Vaccine from Pfizer is used on all workdays. The Janssen vaccine is only available on Wednesdays and the AstraZeneca vaccine is only available on Fridays.

All unvaccinated and partially vaccinated, 12 years old and older, who have an Icelandic social security number (kennitala) can come on these times and get vaccinated.

Those who do not have an Icelandic social security number (kennitala), need to register ahead of time on vaccine.covid.is.

Children

General vaccination days for children, aged 12 years old and older, were held on August 23rd and 24th and September 13th and 14th. No invitations were sent out for these vaccinations, neither for the first doses nor the second doses.

Children who did not come to get vaccinated on those days are welcome to come to Suðurlandsbraut 34 all workdays between 10:00 and 15:00 o'clock.

Children aged 12-15 need to be accompanied by a guardian. Children born late in the year 2009 are welcome to receive vaccination as soon as they reach 12 years of age.

Booster shots

The Pfizer vaccine is used for booster shots.

Booster shots are available for the following groups:

  • People who received the Janssen vaccine more than 28 days ago
  • People who are 70 years old and older is the second vaccination shot was given 3 months ago or more.
  • who are 60 years old and older if the second vaccination shot was given 6 months ago or more.
