Vaccines from Pfizer is used on all workdays. The Janssen and Moderna vaccines are only available on Wednesdays and the AstraZeneca vaccine is only available on Fridays.

All unvaccinated and partially vaccinated, 12 years old and older, who have an Icelandic social security number (kennitala) can come on these times and get vaccinated.

Children aged 12-15 need to be accompanied by a guardian. Children born late in the year 2009 are welcome to receive vaccination as soon as they reach 12 years of age.

Those who do not have an Icelandic social security number (kennitala), need to register ahead of time in the vaccination system. This is done by sending an e-mail to bolusetning@heilsugaeslan.is where you must state: your name, date of birth and year, country of origin, email address, and ideally Icelandic cell phone number to receive a text message invitation.
